Fun game. It started out in typical fashion, with khemri receiving first and reducing our numbers drastically and immediately, luckily through KOs. We screen and harass and poke at the ball carrier until we get an opening when the skeletal men snake a GFI trying to set up a cage, leaving a commando-sized gap in their offense which allowed us to loosen the ball, which remained unclaimed for the rest of the half.

Second half we scrambled around in our backfield, waiting to rush past the desert dead when we found or made an opening, eventually noticing they over-committed to one side and rushing a catcher up (after noticing a long bomb wouldn't reach the blitzer we moved into the EZ). We had a likely TD set up, with only a marked mummy able to stop it, and the mummy made his dodge, then followed up and scooped up the ball!! Fortunately we had enough elves in the region to 1db and get it back, scoring immediately (phew!)

In the end, we played a little loose on the last couple turns of defense, trying to set it up so that one skeleton had a chance to score, and my pass-blocking catcher was in range to swoop in (or at least make it a 5+ catch with 4+ dodge to get away). Fate was with us though, and the game ended on the INT.
