“Like what Blocknroll said, i had endured my first 3 games of BB7's with horrendous dice before this game. I was questioning (and whinging it is true) that i just wasn't sure about the concept. In this game it was Blocknroll's turn for absolutely one sided dice and really just didn't give him a chance to do anything. It really didn't improve my view on the game as i can't magically say im happy now after someone else getting nuffled instead of me but hearing the Serious Injury KERRUNCH noise after not hearing it for 4 full games was slightly arousing :D
I need to check my expectations of a fair and even game at the door with BB7's because without rerolls and a starting team of Orcs with few skills is always going to cause the game to be wild. I think my reactions to the first 3 out of 4 games was justified as the dice were just insane.
I am at the moment a player who does like a more even, tight and fun game where, while you might win or lose the most important aspect is that you can at least attempt plays and actually have 3/4 to a full turn. Its no fun when your turn is either first block/pickup,dodge, etc is a fail or in blocknrolls case in the 2nd half, nothing more than pressing the turn button for 7 turns.
I shall endure as they say as i don't give up easily... i just hope the one sided streak of games is behind me, for myself and opponent!
“Warmaster had been having a bad run with dice (or so he said maybe it was a trick to get me to play orcs??) but it certainyl changed here. 2 injuries in first turn, my guy sent off first foul when eye on the orcs, ended up with no players on the pitch for second half. and only one came back (3 sent off i think 3 injured) in turn 7. full points for Warmaster. Luck at one time was 17% for me 86% for warmaster. Took the decision not to apo a couple of MNGs as was fearing much worse, and the one turning GR tried and succeeded to get himself sent off. If this wasnt a league game it would have been conceeeded (ive never ever conceeded) but as it was the injuries as they fell and sendings off were the next best thing. ”
