“My 4th game in the BB7 mini-league. After seeing the 3-0 score and my 2-and-a-half past nufflings you're probably thinking the same thing happened? Well, not quite.
See, this time even though I had some bad luck at key moments, it was mostly my lack of carefulness that got me down. For example, I got a bothdown early on with the S5 ball carrier trying to break through to safety, but then I only had 1 mighty skink to protect the ball. I'll let you figure out what happened in the next few turns.
With a chance to score before the end of first half, the exact same thing happened. Although this time, my opponent didn't have time to score before the half ended.
I started 2nd half severely handicapped on players, having only my 3 saurus remaining by the end of turn 1. I tried my best at catching the ball-carrier, but I just couldn't do it. 2-0 for him.
I still had time to score before the game would end. Unfortunately, the kick was awfully placed and I wasted lots of time going to get it with my last remaining skink. I couldn't quite tackle all of his players, one slipped by and managed to get the ball from me. And then with a few lucky rolls, he managed to make it all the way to the end zone in the last turn.
So like I said, 2 unlucky rolls preventing me from scoring, too few players to prevent him from scring, but what really made me lose was coaching.
