Taking the field up 10 v 9 for the second half though, our boys couldn't keep on the pitch, with 4 removed via KO in the first 3 turns. The elves scored in 4 turns, likely looking to win outright and giving us 5 turns to win ourselves.
That final drive was a lesson in Fael 101. Skulls and inopportune pushes led nowhere, and we lost our momentum, ending with the 1-1 tie.

“pre match fears were almost realised with 1/1/1 cas in the first 4 turns. apoth saving a rip again (phew). furtunately the damaged eased off after that although the choas cruised through what was left of the defensive line and stalled for a T8 score. QS gave us an outside chance to OTS with the chaos not protecting the full width but it's not something i look to do a lot and blew it falling 1 space short. a foul insted backfired and left us 1 short for the restart.
still a good los, a fast drive forward and a little luck tied the scores with enough on the clock for either side.
then the dice fell apart for both teams and the clock was run out with a melee and loose ball in the middle, snatched away by the elves 1 turn too late.
