#1 Art Monk – Dead (RIP) #2 John Riggins – Dead (RIP) #14 David Clowney – Broken Ribs (MNG) #14 David Clowney – Serious Concussion (-AV)
“I think we had two perms before this match this season. A niggle on the treeman and a niggle from aging. So I guess I was expecting that Nuffle had something juicy in store...
Art and Riggo will sorely missed. On the plus side, Ropati has still not missed a match and gained +AG to help give those crucial assists where I need em.
Grats on the win ryan. I will be taking my revenge... Nuffle permitting!”
My Hammy hosted NY in a divisional rivalry match. Both teams have had a less than stellar season and were looking for a win to keep their playoff dreams alive. NY recieved to start the game but was unable to put pressure on the dorfs defense and everyone knows how evil the Dorf Grins can be when they can hit you at their leisure. Jes E. Powell had his 1st ever 2 player removal blitz KOing Art Monk and niggling NY Catcher George Sauer Jr. on the Dorf Grins 1st hit of the game. The NY apoth went onto the pitch and fixed George up enough to keep him playing but used up all his medical supplies doing so. It could be a long match for NY. NY tried to push the pace to keep the Dorf Grins from applying their dirty brand of defense but soon the ball was on the grass. Even though the ref was now keeping a close eye on Phoul, he saw a downed Brett Favre and couldn't resist the urge, he sprinted around, picked up the ball and dropped his 25 pound specialized boot on Bretts throwing arm Badly Hurting Brett. By the end of the 1st quarter the Dorf Grins had used up NY's apoth and peacefully (BH or less) removed 5 Gangrene from the pitch, and recovered the ball. NY misfortunes continued as elves tripped on routine plays and Jes E. laid a brutal hit on John Riggins. Closed casket memorial services will be held in NY on thursday. The team asks that you donate to the recruit a WD for NY foundation (contact coach Hof for details) Dim Banger was able to walk the ball in as the halftime whistle blew.
My Hammy 1 - 0 Gangrene at the half
My Hammy recieved the ball against the depleted elves (only 8 bodies able to start the 2nd half). NY blitzed but to little avail and My Hammy retaliated with 2 more woodies removed from the pitch. My Hammy was able to push down the field and score as time ran out in the 3rd quarter. 6 Woodies took the field but Art Monk NY's other WD was never going to come off. Bub finished Arts life with a nasty hit on the My Hammy 25 yard line and the grounds crew buried his remains there. (again the team requests you send donations to the NY recruit a WD foundation, contact: coach Hof). My Hammy having not played up to last seasons performance all year took their frustrations out on NY and walked in for a 3rd score to end the game.
My Hammy 3 - 0 Gangrene
My Hammy keeps their playoff hopes barely alive at 3-3-5 and travels to Jacksonville next week.
The Gangrene fall to to 2-4-5 and host to Buffalo next week.
Ugly match Hof, sorry the Dorf Grins took their seasonal frustrations out on you like they did, was really hoping to get this game against Buffalo and not you. GL rebuilding, I'll catch ya round. AND the Dorf Grins point to KC and say, 'THIS IS WHAT YOU HAVE COMING BUDDY BOYS!!!'”
