“I'm glad I was able to keep the game close. Pygmies really NEED 2 Kroxigors, and one of mine was killed in my very first game. I had to resort to fouling to keep things even. My opponent did a very good job stalling once he got through my defenses. I was surprised when he refused to score in the 1st half, but it payed off. He made one less ref check for weapons, and I got one less KO check. The goblins weapons were pretty effective in the 2nd half, and he didn't have too many players kicked out. The second half I was just down too many players and I kept failing to pick up the ball.

I'm still undecided about pygmies as a race. They look like they might be fun to build, but they have a weird assortment of only semi-useful skills - for example none of the positionals start with Dodge, Leap on an AG 3 player, and Shadowing on MA 4 players. The Claws are nice, but I wish the Kroxigors got TTM. All that Right Stuff is useless, and the only General access is on the slowest position, Aligator Warrior.

I will probably take this team out for a few more spins, but if they don't get another Kroxigor soon I may have to reboot.
