A tough game for the chappies being continually 3 players (1 skilled saurus) down due to some 1st turn KOs and casualties, but some inventive caging saw us equalize after a well played elven offense where we just didn't have enough players to mark.
Some slow caging worked a treat on the lizard offense, our blodging sure hander blazing up the pitch to take away any chance of the elves to score again , only to be POW!ed on an unrerolled 1 dice blitz requring many GFIs and dodges. The lizards managed to seemingly pull it back though, where only a 3+ rerolled sure hands pick up was needed to win the game..only to fail it. 1 successful lizard blitz and one extremely lucky bounce/catch. An unblocking 1 die blitz, a dodge, a couple more GFIs and a succesful throw and catch later and the elves took the game, seemingly unable to roll any ones!
Ah well, always next time.
