“OCCS Middenheim Challenge Feb. '10 - round 1

A somewhat surprising upset of Amazons over Dwarves. Both teams played well, the only real mistake I noticed was the dwarves not stalling in the 1st half on their TD. The Gems were able to capitalize on a bad kick off and score before the end of the half. 2nd half the Gems got the ball and rushed down the field for another score, then were able to slow the dwarves up just enough that they were unable to reach the endzone. Pitufina made a valiant effort to start running for the endzone on turn 7, but he was going to come up short even with 4 gfi's. That didn't stop him, and he slipped on the ice. Not willing to be kept down, he stood up on turn 8 and made a pass to one of his blitzer teammates, but the other dwarf couldn't hang onto the ball and the game ended.

Good game, Zugar. I hope we meet again, though not necessarily dwarves vs. amazons again :)
