“145 KO Shield XLIV - game 2

I knew this would be a tough game since I was advanced from round 1 on a forfeit. I really needed a game to get some money for either an extra player or a reroll. I got a handicap roll, but it was Virus. Useless since my opponent was not carrying any niggling player. On the plus side, I got a rock and a pitch invasion on kickoffs, and took advantage of both.

Both coaches played well, especially the Vodoo Show on offense. Both drives were very methodical and ate a large chunk of the clock. I had a chance late in the 1st half to stop the first TD, but my Blitzer failed a very easy dodge and I was out of rerolls.

I was happy with my play overall, playing a slowing/stalling defense and positioning my players to impede the Vodoo Show's advance. But I was losing too many players. I prevented a niggling injury with the apothecary, the remaining injuries were either BH or SI mng only.
