Sensing that the Hometown Rat Boys' days were numbered Head Coach/Owner of the Coldstone Cold Stones issued a challenge. Asperon played this game like he does all his games, with cold calculation and deception.

"I don't know why people question our intent in issueing this challenge, Biff has been writing letters threatening to eat members of my team for weeks." Asperon Thorn said defending his actions. "The Hometwon Rat Boys is a team loaded with high profile players and, by all means, still a viable threat."

The Rat Boys certainly do at that, with 4 players attributing to almost half the teams current skill level. Add on that that the team is plagued with injuries and they become a General Manager's nightmare.

The game started with the Cold Stones recieving the kickoff. It looked like they were going to try and speed the game into a quick scoring game, knowing that Coach CJ prefers to let Biff and Tommy loose on the opposing team to soften them up. But following the impending quick score by the Cold Stones the Elven Fans erupted into a riot, swallowing most of the remaining half. I have to say, with the way the Coldstone players took their time getting back to the bench, you could almost conclude that the riot was planned.

"Look, just because Coldstone Stadium officials didn't have enough skinks on Free Skink day, is no reason to believe that the riot was contrived." retorted Asperon Thorn, obviously was not the first time he has had to answer that question. "Importing Skink slaves is not as easy as it used to be, even I am having trouble getting enough skinks, for my slave team, Triassic."

The second half started with the Rat Boys recieving. Tommy immediatly went to hit Crank Badquartz, but the Dark elf dove to the ground (complaining of cramps, or some such) before he was even able to touch him. The whistle blew and the Coldstone medics were able to pull him off the pitch before Tommy could Jump and injure him further, the refs told Asperon that he would not be allowed back in this game. After a short scuffle, in which no clear lines, or zones could be made out the ball ended up in the hands of Biff. Crime MockGranite ran up to Biff and singlehandedly knocked the ball from his claws. Crime's Bravery only lasted as long as it took Biff to turn around, to reward him for his insolence. Crime, also, dove to the ground before Biff could touch him. In the resulting medical timeout, the refs said that he, too, would not be allowed back in this game. Biff was infuriated by being robbed of the kill, but with the Coldstone's two best blitzers out, there was little that the Dark elves could do to stop the impending Rat Boys Touchdown, to tie the score.

The Cold Stones showed a surprising amount of skill in the next drive. Without thier dynamic duo of Crime and Crank, they managed a quick score up the sidelines. So unprepared were the Rat Boys, that Biff didn't even have time to get into the play, but this still left plenty of time for the Rat Boys to tie the game, and plenty of time for Asperon Thorn to pull his dirtiest trick, yet.

The drive started in chaos on both sides, Dark Elves flooded the Skaven Backfield, and Skaven tore deep into the Dark elf side. The line managed to hammer themselves senseless, and the fans were on thier feet trying to find out what was happening. Then when Biff was about to lay a hit on Fit Breakslate, Fit dove to the ground. The refs blew for a medic time out, and Biff threw a tantrum. Having no chance to touch him, or Dive on Fit, he started argueing with the ref. While all eyes were on the argument, 2 Dark elf assistant coaches ran up and greased the ball.

When play continued in the closing moments, the final Hometown touchdown, was dependent on a hand off from Chad, the super Agile Gutter runner, to Scott, a veteran thrower. Unaware of the greased ball, that he had picked up with his claws, Chad quickly stuffed it into Scotts chest. Scott tried in vain to hang onto it, but it bobbled around, finally hitting the turf.

"GREASED BALL!!? This is nonsense." Cried Asperon Thorn in dismay, "Everytime some surehanded player, and some star catcher bobbles something on MY field, I have to deal with these unfounded accusations. Honestly if Biff wasn't so busy trying to convince the ref for an oppurtunity to kill my players, then what would you guys think up?"

The real question is if Biff hadn't given Asperon Thorn the oppurtunity, what would HE have thought up? It is only a matter of time before the other teams start to catch up with Asperon's antics.
