“A brutal game that the Stormlizards were frankly lucky to win. The humans scored fast, then set up an almost impregnable defence for the Stormlizards to get through; however, the Ogre went down on a block, leaving a gap to squeeze through, and the equaliser was made.
After a handling error, the Stormlizards were scrambling to recover with the Positionals swarming all over them - a crucial Skink blitz secured the ball, and the managed to progress down the left flank, with many humans caught out of position in their attempts to press the ball. The lizardmen had to stall out the last few turns to ensure a win, but the Positionals gave up on the ball; they were intent on inflicting damage!
The last turn gave me a scare, as monboesen tried a 1-turn TD using pushbacks to manoeuvre a catcher into range, but fell one square short. ”
“Usually I don't go for damage, but there was just no way i could have stopped the TD anyway and the kills, stalling and permanent injury fouled my mood. With the two key players against the Lizards out with injuries even a faster score by the Lizards wouldn't not have left much chance of scoring in the two or three turns. Actually could not have stopped him from stalling either, just not enough men on the field.
Colins AV rolls were ridiculous. So many stuns and injuries in a rather block light match. And two kills just to spite me. Just a crappy match, luck score really accounts for nothing at times.
That said he played well and fair. Would definately play you another time.”
