“My Hammy 0-3 Oakland

This was a match for the fans of the true meaning of blood bowl. Phoul (MNG from last match) could only look on whistfully from the bench as he didnt suit up for the game as fans took out the ref and beat him senseless from the 1st moments of the game and while they were at it they got the Apoths too (their bodies have yet to be recovered, any information to their whereabouts would be greatly appreciated)Oakland opened up Badly Hurting one line dorf and Niggling another on a late hit before the dorf grins even had time to react to the kickoff. My Hammy responded with a late hit of their own killing Oakland star Run DMC. Another late hit on the 2nd play of the game Badly Hurt another Dorf Grin. The Dorf Grins were only able to KO an elf, and the Elf Raiders returned with a concussion to My Hammys star blitzer and another late hit for a KO (5 dorfs removed from the pitch in 3 turns!) The teams continued to trade blows til the end of the 1st half with just 2 dorf grins unable to prevent the 7 elves from scoring. The dorfs thick skulls completely useless against the violent onslaught (4 KOs, 2BH, 1MNG, & 1 Niggle) suffered by the end of the half. The few dorf grins made a respectable showing for their short numbers having killed a star blitzer and badly hurt 2 other elves.

A severely depleted My Hammy recieved the ball to start the 2nd half as only 2 dorfs came back in their 2 chances from KO rolls it was 4 on 10. The Dorf Grins quicly made it 4v9 with a late hit but had to leave the ball relatively open. Oakland chose to press their numbers advantage instead and by turn two had laid another late hit and reduced the dorfs to 3. But 3 dorfs is enough to inflict pain on elves. My Hammy KO'd two and Niggled elves over the next three turns. The final outcome of the game was decided when the replacement Ref caught Hubie Grogg on a late hit that removed another Raider and sent him off reducing the dorf grins to two players. vs 6. (The ref was keeping an eye on the Raiders at the time) Oakland was able to overwhelm the remaining two dorfs and gang fould Harm Stucky smashing his ankle (he will be slowed down, but who can really tell if a dwarf is SLOWer.) Laury Ironball held the ball on turn 6 and was goig to try to make a break for it, he only had 1 elf next to him. BLITZ and run (skull, skull) and well his night was all over there. Oakland surrounded him, fouled with the eye on got caught and argued, Ricky Brown was allowed to stay on the pitch BUT THERE WERE NO LONGER ANY DORF GRINS THERE FOR HIM TO FOUL! and oakland picked up the ball and scored. My Hammys 2 KOs returned for a final kickoff, the clock was pushed back for injury time and Oakland was able to score a final time.

My Hammy playoff hopes dissapear with this loss, they will play out their season as spoilers and look to rebuild for next season.
