“Yeah, like my opponent said, my guys drop the ball way to often in the first half (turn 5 to 8 to be exact, was 3 spaces from the endzone but nobody wanted to carry the ball apparently) so 0-0 at half time. Then I made a careless attack giving Gortex the opportunity to score without challenge so 1-0 for him. Then I scored rather quickly but not quick enough. Then I got a blitz opening the possibility to score a second time but I thought it more important to make sure Gortex didn't score a second time so played it rather defensivly (besides scoring would've meant 3 GFI which knowing my luck would have failed anyway...

The norse got to the ball, but I was able to knock it loose enough times that they didnt' score (also helped that they failed to pick the ball up 3-4 times during the half)...really should have been 0-1 at half time.
In the 2nd half, even though I was down players, I managed to get to the ball and score..the Norse advanced almost everyone down field, and when I got the ball, they were so out of position that I scored easily.
They scored pretty easily in return the next drive...but I was able to delay them just enough that they had to score on turn 7..but they got a blitz!!! But for some reason, he didn't move any players far enough on the blitz to be able to score on his turn 8..should have moved one or two players 1 or two more squares into my side of the field.
Anyway, a very enjoyable game..lots of carnage and nuffle didn't seem to favor one team over the other much.”
