“BVZRoma is correct, my dice was better, no more so than in the case of a 1db vs his block/dodge ballcarrier. But since it was turn 8 I threw those dice to get at least a chance at the score. My catcher (which has ST3, so no Dauntless) rolled PUSHBACK/POW and re-rolled into the POW. Then he miraculously caught the ball, so I just ran. This time it worked!
I'm still amazed though how many gfi's my opponent did during that Blizzard. Must have been at least a dozen, not failing a single one. ;)
Thanks for the game, it was great fun. Rematch anytime.”
“One of the games in which you cannot realize how you could lose with 2 TD difference playng good bloodbowl. I dare to say, simple...DICE! I mean...Everything was in favour of my opponent that played good bloodbowl and profited of every occasion. He found a Td in an onedice blitz vs a blodger notackle with dauntless, caught a ball at 4 and made gfit in a blizzard and a dodge all without rrolz. Made NJs and BHs with linos and no MB or tackle...behaved like the guy of the next door then goes fouling just for fun. But this time instead than regretting for something or whining I just think that both coaches developed good plays, got their job done, and reaped results. The game was really fun and I have to gratz my opponent for this win thinking he robbed nothing, just benefited of better dices than mine. His team is better developed than mine for now and in the long run he prevailed. This is one of the cases in which I will definitively ask for a rematch because I think that I've been nor outplayed nor outfought, and that loss has been "strange". But definitively fun...
P.S. I have to apologize if my memory remembered differently...my opponent is right. I doublechecked just now. Things do not change much... True, i made many gfit, but the shortening of pass range in blizzard blocked my spreading the ball on the field, and with field shortened my opponent had better chances to win, as he did. A perfect defence, a get a ref in his favour and all the small things helped much more than expected. Suffering nearly 50 blocks (and not many onedices, not counting all the times my ogre stood boneheaded on 3 dices) and going home with just one cas is another of the things that can help to explain the result. But the main thing remain. Gratz for the win. I want a rematch. Nothing is better than a sane rivalry (no bad blood pumping) Has been fun.”
