#13 Inflated Gobbo – Broken Ribs (MNG)
TWBE's loyal fans almost won the match as an accurate rock hit Alliance's Star Wardancer Respen Calaudra. Unfortunately the dodgy elf wasnt injured and later would win the game for his team. After a weak start, TWBE managed to loosen up the Alliance's Dward line and some beautiful blocks by Loffe sent them off the pitch one by one. Although we managed to get the ball deep in Alliance territory, the agile Elf and Human defenders always got it back and TWBE, focused on the offence didnt react in time. This was even more evident as the Aliience scored again, as the orcs in blind battlelust forgot Alliance's star thrower hiding near the sideline.

After a impressive season with only one loss, this was a major setback for the orcs.. and they will not get a warm welcome back in New Orc.. If we will see them next season is up to the fans and the riot police!

Infinity Open Quarter Final

The style and grace of the Alliance's passing game against the shear brutality and simple bloody-mindedness of the orcs...

There Was Blood Everywhere certainly lived up to their name (motto?) as they realed off 6 casualties at an alarming rate. Loffe apparently had a small stilleto blade with him, but the refs saw nothing as the Orcs crashed into again and again the Alliance lines.

The Alliance were forced onto the back foot with their usually pin-point passing game thrown off balance as their line of dwarves and tree failed to contain the orcs.

In the end though the only thing that saved the Alliance was that the casualties were not serious and all of the players bar Roryn Shieldstand will back up for the Infinity Open Semi-Final. If the injuries had been more dire, or overtime been forced, then their may have been a conceded result here.

Good luck Hugo, bad luck was equally shared and you were a great sport. Good luck for next season.
