“The game started badly for the opposition. Lots of 1's and double skulls plaguing the simplist of moves. The fresh WE team tried to capitalise and stole the ball. Heading for the endzone the WE's got greedy and tried too hard to get that extra square resulting in the ball ending up on the opposition try line but no elves to pressure. The WE found advantage in numbers near their own endzone and were throwing in plenty of blocks but the dice turned and the WE's strated losing plenty of their number to KO's. The rotters reclaimed the ball and walked it in for a last turn touchdown leaving the elves 1-0. Prior to the break the beast took a boot and was rendered out of action for the second half.

The elves recieved second half and made a push for one flank. Some inopportune 1s left them man in the back field on his back with beasts bearing down on the ball. A failed pass and a heavy block later and the rotters were lined up to take a 2-0 lead.

The next drive saw the elves throw caution to the wind and attack down one flank. In a fair bit of lucker play the elves were able to pull one back. to make it 1-2.

Again, lucker skills came to the fore as the elves managed to level on the last turn of the match with some fortunate rolls.

All in a ll an interesting experience for my first eood elf team. Lets see ho I cope playing 2 men down next match!”
