#7 Scalaris – Serious Concussion (-AV)
The Reptiles went in in the unusual situation of having the extra numbers, with the Monarchs suffering still from their previous game. The elves problems were compounded by the bad curry that they had been eating and an ego squabble between their two best players. Fittingly the Reptiles scored in the first half, although Patrician marshalled the resources he had well and it took a dodge from Primordius to see it over the line.

In the second half The Monarchs were knocked down to only four men at one stage, but they kept playing the ball and dished out some KOs. Scalaris tripped dodging and fractured his own skull. Louise XIV recognised the opportunity to step up and threw a magnificent long bomb to Peter I who dodged Thin Lizzie's tail to secure the score. 1-1 and the ball went back to the Reptiles. Bassiana Jnr moved forward and seemed to be well protected, but on defence as well Louise XIV proved he was a match-winner. A multiple dodged Blitz through TZs spille dthe ball loose, and though the Lizards tried to protect it Louis was able to recover it and pass again, over the attempted interception of Eremius and onto Richard Lionheart for the winner.

Well done Patrician, it didn't look likely at the start of the game but you were a deserving victor.

3 votes: Louise XIV. Far and away the best player on the field. 2 passes to set up the scores and a sensational defensive blitz.
2 votes: Peter I. A good dodge for the score and Badly Hurt poor Bartleia.
1 vote: Bonnie Prince Charlie. Constantly a threat, especially in the first half.
