The DRW went about doing what they do well, removing players with the boot, taking out 2 longbeards early was countered by Zara's removal of a mummy, which put fear into the ranks and led to some desperate play. The play, as it usually does, failed and the dorfs gathered the ball and safely saw it over the line for a 1-0 defensive score. We're in trouble here. We got an early start on the second half by trying to remove players, Grim was taken out of play which helped immeasurably.

After a miss-thrown pass ended at the feet of the DRW early in the second half our chance arrived, after securing the ball and setting up a lane, we managed a late score for the tie, a good result considering the opposing roster.
