The Battle of AV 7, this game was decided by numbers. Niggle Me, Please came into the game with exactly 11 players, while the Ventrue Blue Bloods brought 14. It allowed me to start fouling early, and I did. Even though I kicked off first, my armor was holding up better than the norse armor for whatever reason. I left a gap in my defenses that the norse exploited for a quick T3 TD, but I was able to score again in the 1st half so it worked out. Second half I received the kick off and scored earlier than I intended. But since a vampire had the ball, I didn't want to mess around and fail too many OFABs. It was a good thing I did because after the 2nd TDs, the Blue Bloods got hungry and started snacking on thralls. Nothing worse than a BH, but I did start losing the numbers advantage. I managed to knock the ball loose and mark it, but couldn't get ahold of it long enough to score with it. Neither team managed to score, with a few skulls coming up on blocks after we both ran out of rerolls.
The Ventrue did get a +1 FF, but the money roll left something to be desired. Enough to buy another Thrall or a Wizard, we'll have to see who the next opponent is.
Good game, vlok. Too bad about George "The Animal" Steele, I always liked that guy.
