“This was the final match for Vanilla Ice who were retired after the game to make room for a new COSM league team.

Neither coach had played with their team for a while and it showed. The dwarves got a Rune of Courage (frenzy & dauntless) and gave it to their .....drumroll ........ Ogre. He never failed a dauntless roll.

Since it was the last game, I had a bit of the WTF attitude. Sometimes it pays off. Dwarf's 1st drive I blitzed the STR4 runner with my frenzy blitzer (2D against, hoping for 2 pushes into the crowd). Instead I got a bonus of POW/Dodge POW. He then proceeded to dodge and pick up the ball.

Before my opponent could mumble "you lucky f-ck" , his frenzying Ogre double skulled and allowed me a free run to the endzone.

With 3 turns left in the half Jerome made a nice Blizt GFI TD in T8 to tie it at 1-1.

Highlight of the game was when a dwarf niggled at half-time and 6FtDwarf typed "WTF". I had to explain the new Div-X rules and he quickly announced this was his last Div-X game EVER.

2nd half was back and forth with the Norse scoring in turn 5 after using a wizard to stun the STR4 runner. The dwarves were set to tie the game in turn 8 but, with no rerolls left, chose to make a block with their troll slayer for some SPPs and rolled skull/skull.

Ahh ..... AV7 is such the temptrous.
