#12 T'kraggok – Dead (RIP)
A fairly bad game that could have been much worse. Excellent armor rolls kept me in a game that was in every other way very lopsided.

It starts off well enough for me, with Mel's handicaps being irrelevant and my nigglers playing, while his sits out. But that proved to be the high point.

Mel's AGI players proved very adept at pick ups, throws, catches, and dodges for most of the game, including the turn that produced his touchdown in which we saw a dodge, pick up, throw, catch, and hand off. Fortunately for me, Nuffle withdrew his AGI favor during OT.

The refs were not only blind but deaf and (probably) bribed as well, as eight fouls, five with the eye, went completely unpunished. This was somewhat offset by the fact that the fouls only produced one KO and one injury, but there was also a lesser host of stuns that, while not as effective as a field clearing result, was still helpful for him.

As for the rest of my injuries, two come about as a result of failed dodges, including the RIP on my only DP, with the rest being blocks. This actually highlights another definciency, which was not apparent during the game, but despite throwing 15% more blocks, with more MBs, more frenzies, and better defensive skills (more dodge and higher armor), we cause the same number of CAS from blocks.

Two critical personal blunders also contribute to the tie, though none of them would have guaranteed me a win in any case. At my one-turn score opportunity, I mistakenly threw the ball to my gobbo rather than handing it off, which prevented me from attemtping the long-shot TTM score. The other blunder was apparently lightning bolting my own guy (I say apparently because, logically, I accept that the program is far more reliable than I am, but emotionally I'm pretty damned sure I clicked the right square to hit the thrower I wanted to), which ensured I had no chance to score in OT.

So in conclusion, good play combined with very effective aciton dice, strong block dice, and ridiculous penalty evasion luck allowed Mel's otherwise underskilled (relative to mine) team to grind out the 1-1 tie. Then in OT, I benefitted from Mel's inability to manage to pick up the ball, thereby leaving the score at a deadlock, despite the total field dominance the khemri had by then achieved.

Oh, and I also earn no money for the 6th time out of 58 games. I suppose my orcs just play 11% of games for free as a tax right off or something.
