Handicaps - Bad Press and Knuckledusters (given to CW - Minister Malevolence).
It was never billed as an easy match for the chaos side by any means... but when my Troll, High Priest Klunk managed to drink to much unholy blood wine prematch and failed 3 really Stupid rolls in a row from the start... we knew it was going to be an uphill struggle.
Things in the first half didn't go too badly despite the uesless Troll... we managed to hold our own, even SI'ing a zombie (who regened) and making a completion... so the spp's were starting to come. We even managed to roll splats on one or two of the blodge ghouls... but then it just fell apart... KO's galore... and more failed Troll rolls and the Undead coasted to victory...
...and then... in the latter stages of the game, Minister Malevolence went down to a block and impaled himself on an upended pointy helmet. and died.
The crowd didn't like this at all, with many vowing not to come back...
With a dead CW, -FF and no skills gained this wasn't much of a start for the chaos side. 70k helps... but now I have to wonder as to whether to hire an apoth or risk going another game without one, and hopeing to gain enough winnings to buy a replacement CW.
All in all a terrible start to the WIBBL campaign, although the game got funny as time went on. Thanks for the game easilyamused... but some time... maybe not this season, we will have our revenge! :D”
