propuppetmaster flat out outplayed me in this one. I miscounted on blocks multiple times, rerolled a block that would have gotten a knockdown (his catcher lacked Block) forgot to bring someone next to my troll to un-stupid it, etc, all through the first half and once or twice in the second.

Funny thing is, when you have a bunch of MB and Guard, and av9 all over the place, sometimes things just work out your way anyway. That's what happened here. The humans walled off one side of the field early, after one of my ill-advised blocks, and looked set to score, but I managed to plow over the screen he set and tackle the ball carrier. I was able to lock down the ball, but not advance it, and the half ended scoreless.

Second half started with a pitch invasion that took out my ball recovery team. My (dumb) backup plan was to screen with a couple linos and pick up with a BoB. I neglected to remember that one of the linos was AG4 and wouldn't have fubmled the pickup as readily as the BoB did. It scattered to the human side, and they swarmed and recovered, passing back to a catcher safely screened off.

But again, more bashing and the Legion walled them in behind a line of green, armored flesh. A 1db to poke a hole on the sideline led to an all-or-nothing run by the catcher, who was reachable with Tackle in just a couple blocks. Fail and the humans would score, but it was a bashing task, and the Legion bashed well. Remembering the AG4 lino, we gathered up the ball and marched to the end zone, passing off to Grezz Ragefist for the winning TD in turn 8.
