“On the day of the match coach Bascrebolder was confident in his team’s chances for the win. Not surprisingly given the fact that he would only face 8 dark elves in coach Camy’s Pschedylic Breakfast. It wouldn’t be the first encounter with the team either. The two teams faced each other in a crucial match in the Albany regional division just last season. The Dutch Disciples came out victorious against a full team of elves that time around. With depleted elf numbers that shouldn’t be much to worry about.. right?

The gameplan was to just “bash them darkies a bit and get tha TD’s in boys!”. The idea was to remove some players from the pitch but not fatally injure the team so that it could still face up to the other competitors in the division.

When the game started no one expected all of the elves to escape the match unscaved! The awesomely agile Volechaser scored a brilliant offfensive tochdown halfway during the first half and the elves continued to perform miraculous dodges all game long. They certainly weren’t going to be pinned down or tackled by the slow dwarves!

Appalled by the lack of blood the Disciples fans helped out throughout the match by raining down rocks on the Breakfast players. Being jumpy little fellows they were rather hard to hit well though...

After the 0-1 score the Dwarves got their act together and pretty much focussed on the ball first bashing second. This worked out well enough with the equaliser late in the first half. Second half the dwarves continued with their second offense and secured another touchdown, stillwithout putting any hurt on the nimble elves. The last offense f the game was for the dark elves. The ball however was stormed by angry Bull Centaurs who, in the end, managed to scrape together a third touchdown!

All in all a good game and a nice win. Though being outbashed with 0 to 1 casualties against an 8 elf squad feels a bit humiliating. I guess Nuffle just didn’t want to put any more hurt on Camy’s team... (this time...)
