The Doomhamers hand won the toss and set up first. After three turns, three black orc blockers were out. Two were badly hurt and one was knocked out. Things looked very grim for the orcs. However, the necro team was quite greedy with the ball and attempted to move it right into the fray. The ball carrier was blitzed down and the orcs, what was left of them, swarmed the ball. It took them many painful turns, but eventually the Silverskulls managed to get a lineman on a free run for the goal line. And he reached it on the final turn of the first half. A great achievement after being so heavily underhanded.

The second half was similar except the orcs never lost the ball. But time was not on their side this time and they missed the goal line by a few paces. The second half was almost as painful as the first. Grumdrig was knocked out and one more black orc blocker was badly hurt. In total the dugouts were filled with orcish players. It was a real wonder that they managed to hold out for the win as they did.
