“SWL Season 35: Laviak's Decommisioned Conference League - Game 2
A nice outing for the Vermin. We shut down the opening Orc drive after they panicked and left themselves open. We cleaned it up, found Maybach open in space, and went in 1-0. After a skirmish over the ball, the score stayed the same into the halftime break.
The second half saw us receive, open the playbook, choose "plan a", and streak away for a second TD through Horch.
The resulting kicoff saw our fans invade the pitch, roll a bunch of Orcs, and open some gaping holes in their "defense". Klaus put himself in the frame, and on the scoreboard. 3-0.
And thats the way it stayed. Special mention goes to Elan for what must be a career highlight, when he managed to jag the death of Kinski late in the game. I doubt he's ever managed anything as close to consequential as this, and that's taking into account that Kinski was going to be retired at some point during the season anyway. A victory for mediocrity.
