“This was a hard-fought game where we never really managed to gain any kind of advantage. Malmir took care of his business and made the most of the opportunities he had. I had my chances but never capitalized.

First half, I managed to force a score on Malmir's T5, leaving myself 4 turns to score. The kick result was a Blitz! though, and Revengers flooded towards the ball's landing spot. I cleared out some space and fielded the ball, needing a short pass to get it safe, but couldn't manage the 3+ to even get it away from Malmir's orcs. There was some flubbing of the ball by both sides, then Malmir pulled off some elfy shenanigans in T8 to score again. My T8 TTM attempt came oh-so-close with a double-skull eating up a reroll I'd need to get away from a tackler right next to the end zone.

Second half, I went agressive. T1 TTM/OTT worked, and I set up to push agressively for the ball, to work a tie. I managed to crush Fleetfeet into a ball in Malmir's half, but never managed a good shot at the ball carrier before my troll knocked himself over, and Malmir recovered to escape and wall off my pursuit. Rain prevented a BoB hand-off at the end from working, and I had a couple shots to make a miracle play, but my orcs just weren't feelin' the hero vibe and kept falling over (amazingly, they did fine at picking up a wet ball in a TZ or two)
