“Our khemri face goffmogg's humans. We're still at 3 mummies while they have 2 players MNG so only have 11 for this game. We get one handicap of knuckledusters which we give to our +STR skelly.
We kick deep and they collect it with their +AGI thrower who tosses it forward to a waiting catcher, as they push forwards with two stat boosted blitzers (+STR and +AGI). We KO the +AGI one with our DP and close in all around them. They retreat backwards en masse for a turn, then switch sides on us, leaving two mummies far away from the action. We charge across, just about keeping them from pouring into our half, with both sides KO'ing a player each. A rookie lineman manages to MNG himself against a skelly on an end-of-turn both-down 1d block so it's 10 of us vs 8 of them. On turn 5 they make their run through into our half, but don't quite have enough players to make their catcher safe, and we're able to blitz him down with our two tackling blitz-ras. A great T6 sees them somehow dodge their AGI4 thrower through the press to secure the ball but fortunately we're able to knock him back down. The STR4 blitzer is in by the ball looking dangerous and on T7 a lineman might have been away with the ball except for a failed pickup. Our frenzy mummy then ejects a guard blitzer and the crowd tear him into tiny pieces! We have a (small) chance at a TD involving a couple of AGI2 handoffs, but they come to nothing and it's half time.
9 humans kick off to 11 khems as we collect the ball with our +AGI thro-ra, and then fail to remove any players despite a gang foul. They foul back, KO'ing a skeleton but getting their DP sent off. We foul a 2nd time KO'ing the +AGI blitzer and the following turn (after a nice 1d blitz that briefly knocks the ball free) their +STR blitzer KOs himself trying to dodge. A mummy MNGs a lineman and it's now 10 vs just 5 as we stroll the ball towards their endzone. Our STR4 knuckleduster skelly finally lands a cas for a skillup with a badly hurt and the humans really have no chance any more. We wait out the last couple of turns and take the lead on T15.
