“Chaos pact vs Chaos pact. We face jesperius with a slightly stronger team (6 skillups vs our 3) - but both teams have just 11 players so injuries will be important!
We kick off and the fans get the ref - giving a bribe to both teams for some safe fouling... or so we think. Jesperius goes for an unassisted foul on T1 that gets his player sent off and his bribe used up for nothing!
Our mino's first blitz badly hurts one of their mighty blow marauders so they are down to 9 for the rest of the match already. A KO on either side and they make a run for it down one side with their +MA dark elf. We're able to dodge back two marauders with a RR and blitz him over. The following turn a 2d block with their ogre goes wrong and their RR is wasted on loner so we get an immediate turnover. We take advantage by running the ball upfield and removing a couple more of their players to the KO box with fouls. Finally the ref barges in and we use up our bribe to keep our player out of the dungeon.
Our mino scores another badly hurt while we stall out the turns, and they manage a final KO with their ogre on T8 before we make it 1-0 with just 4 of their players on the pitch.
6/6 wake ups from the KO boxes (4 theirs) so we have 11 vs 8 for the second half.
We immediately KO a marauder and move the ball to the half way line. When they commit both big guys to one side, we switch to the far side and look for a way through. Yet another both-down loner fail from their ogre gives us a nice turnover and we hand off to a marauder who runs through to score on T4.
1 of their 2 KOs wakes up so it's 7 vs 11 as we kick off; two rocks come sailing in to stun a player on either side and they then badly hurt one marauder and KO another, making it 7 vs 9 straight away. But things stop working out quickly as we pile in the players and manage to knock the ball free and then run it forwards to make it 3-0.
They get one final turn, managing a second badly hurt and the game ends.
