Chaos pact face lizardmen. As usual both sides have exactly 11 players - so any injuries will be key! They have only 5 sauruses, which will be handy.

We kick off and after a slight false start they collect the ball and then KO our ogre with their kroxi. We have swarmed players into their half while most of their sauruses are tied up at the half way line. T3 and their kroxi badly hurts a marauder - down a player for the rest of the game now. Their skink with the ball tries to run around our shield of players, trying for 2 GFIs to shorten his pass forwards- but he trips up! We take advantage and steal the ball, handoff to another marauder and make the double GFI run for the endzone: 1-0!

We set up 9 vs 11 with our ogre snoozing onwards and kick off again- rolling up a blitz! We punch a hole with our minotaur and dodge our dark elf through, going for 2 GFIs to get near the ball and tripping over on the 2nd one. They move the ball to the halfway line and manage to drop the handover despite a RR and then fail the pickup the next turn with their last RR. On T6 a skink fails a simple dodge onto the ball- impaling himself somehow and ending up in the badly hurt box! We take advantage and finally grab the ball with our dark elf.

With all their sauruses tagged, they can't attack the ball so instead park a couple players by our dark elf. We push players out of the way and run through towards the endzone, making it 2-0 on the final turn!

Our ogre snoozes on happily, so it's 9vs9 as they kick off with a perfect defence. This really messes up our first turn, tying up a load of marauders on the front lines, and they take advantage immediately blitzing through and knocking over the ball carrier. A skink steals the ball, despite it landing in a tackle zone, and we can't knock him over with 4 dice on the following turn. They make a little space and make it 2-1 with a single GFI.

Their KO wakes up while our ogre STILL sleeps so it's 9 vs 10 in their favour as they kick off. We fumble the pickup with our dark elf and the lizards swarm in. Once again they steal the ball in a tackle zone, and we aren't able to get in to block them afterwards, though we do badly hurt a random skink. They run for the endzone, but trip up on a GFI! We are able to grab the ball with our dark elf, but it's right by our endzone and we are out of rerolls. They crowd in players and on T7 we try and break him into a bit of space... rolling double skulls on the blitz vs a skink! The ball bounces around until a saurus catches it. Uh oh! And indeed, they blitz him free and he makes it 2-2 on the last turn.
