“The instruments played well for this medley of death. Unfortunately, there were some sour notes along the way. The Famous Gladiators took the first kick all the way down the field with a tremendous moving cage. Even with a player advantage, the instruments couldn't get by the BOB's of The Famous line. Early in the second half, Tennor Sax bolted for the end zone, only to trip over the quintessential thrown beer can and BH himself into the goal post. Fortunately, the conductor of this piece found a way to get Bace Druhm to the ball and move in for the tying score.
The last kick, the Orkestra moved into a defensive stance and applied themselves to the counterpoint of keeping ahead of the ball and leave no open path. The Famous Glads almost broke through, but Smaragidus mentioned something unmentionable about Kleff Knote's mother and died immediately thereafter. Kleff said after the match, "My mother does NOT do human laundry."
