Our undead are up against PacoSillas' norsemen. They get one handicap but it's a palmed coin, and their niggler refuses to play so they have just 11 for the game vs our 15.

We kick and T1 fouls from both teams badly hurt a zombie (regens) and -AV injure a norse lineman. T2 and they KO both our wights and a zombie, regaining the player advantage in style. T3 we manage to burn up their apo with a KILL vs a lineman, but then poor block dice turn an attempted surfing totally around on us. They take advantage of the turnover and rush the ball through to our endzone while punching up our remaining players. A 2nd gang foul in a row vs a ghoul sees him KO'd and one of their DPs banned. We are down to just 5 players on the pitch now, and have no hope of getting the ball. They score on T8, giving us an attempt at a 1 turn touchdown with our MA9 ghoul. We push him far enough, but can't pass the ball to him and the half time whistle blows.

Despite 10 rolls only one of our 5 KOs wakes up - ouch! We can still field 11 vs 9, and our DP soon makes that 8 with a first turn KO, but we have 2 wights and a ghoul missing. They are defending cagily, trying to minimise the damage they are taking, and we push through on T3. T4 and we KO 3 of their players before scoring the equaliser- perfect! only 1/4 of the norsemen wakes up so we have 11 vs 6 as we kick off.

Our kick lands right by one sideline, but they get there first and run it back to their own endzone in the hands of their superb blodge thrower. Eventually we collar him, but it's only on T7, and they are able to 1d dodge blitz over our ghoul, then throw the ball downfield out of range of our players.
