“Our underworld face the challenge of Were_M_Eye's almost-new ogres who think they are tough enough to overcome a 260k TV difference. Hah!

We kick off and an ogre catches the high kick before blitzing forwards for a 3d blitz vs a rat on the LOS, but he trips up on a double 1 on the GFI backwards into safety! The ball bounces nicely for us, and we scatter it further with some snotling blocks, until it has nicely bounced into our half. They badly hurt our wrestle linerat while we run the ball in our blodge throwers hands, looking for a way through.

T3 and they recover the ball with a swarm of snotlings finding the POW vs our thrower, but he blitzes straight back up to badly hurt the one with the ball! Again the snotling swarm piles in, and they start running the ball towards our endzone. We try a blitz with our two-headed gobbo but he can't find that crucial POW and on T5 they run in the touchdown!

The hot weather keeps 2 ogres off the pitch and 4 of our players, so we have 8 vs 7 for the last few turns of the half. We knock over 3 piles of snotlings on the LOS, without hurting any and recover the ball. They go for a thrown snotling projectile attempt, hoping to scatter him into the thrower.. but fumble him straight into the ground and a KO!

We try and move the ball into their half with time running out, but drop the handoff. A both-down from a snotling has badly hurt a gobbo though we then KO an ogre before half time.

1-0 down but we have the player advantage now with heat exhaustion only keeping one of our SVs out while two ogres and a snotling can't make it so they only have 6 players (5 snotlings) to set up with. We immediately KO two and rush forwards with the ball. T2 and 3 snotlings left on the pitch dodge through a horde of tackle zones to 1d POW the thrower. The following turn we recover but it's not til T4 we can score thanks to the relentless swarm.

We have 9 vs 4 ogres + 2 snotlings as we kick and a max-range scatter bounces out of bounds to give them a touchback. Their piling on ogre then piles onto our claw/MB SV, KILLING him! Our apo can only turn it into a niggle, and they drive forwards, our every attempt at the ball foiled by sickening dice to make it 2-1 on T7.

We go for a TTM attempt, but the gobbo drops the handoff and the game ends. Well won Were_M_Eye!”
