“Archevol has pretty uch hit the nail on the head. Looking at our teams on peper I was sure he had the guard/mb advantage but the dice rolls just didn't go his way. At all.
His luck meter was in the low 30's until the reload, I know it isn't a good indication usually but this time it was.
Again a pleasure to play, Archevol taking the horrendous rolls in his stride.
“I occasionally get lyrical about this kind of thing, so apologies to all.
Bill's a lovely chap to play, but that was our second utterly one-sided dicefest in a row.
What started off as a match that, on paper, slightly favoured the dwarves, seeing as how the orcs didn't have a DP or any reserves, was possibly a legendary blowout for this historically underperforming team.
Single niggled player out for the game? Yes. Lost FF? Yes. End four turns with skulls? Yes.
Trouble is, the last time I played Bill, it was just the same. Last time, I managed 2KOs, and he managed 5 casualties. This time, I managed two KOs (breaking armour four times in total), and he managed six casualties, including two kills and perhaps a dozen stuns.
Last time I had 7MBs and three reserves. This time I had 9MBs and two reserves. Both times, I ended up fielding nine players for the second half against an untouched team.
Bottom line is, this game was a writeoff. It's about fricking time this crappy team played more than a few turns without ending up significantly under-strength in important games. I sometimes have to pretend this team has AV7 just so it makes a bit more sense.
Thanks for the game Bill. I look forward to one where my heart doesn't sink lower every single turn. Hope you enjoyed it; you're definitely fun to play - and apologies for the reloads. ”

No prob for the reloads mate, it happens.”
