“Necros vs avien's brand new chaos pact. We have a +13 TV advantage but both teams have just 11 players so injuries will be key.

We kick off first and their initial rush into our half is foiled by a dropped pass, though they recover well on T2, caging up strongly behind their big guys. They then push through with the ball on the opposite side, leaving most of our players stranded on the wrong side of the pitch. We manage to get a ghoul and a wight back to at least put a tackle zone on their dark elf, but it's not enough as he dodges and GFIs twice to score the opening TD!

Their kick goes deep and they also get a perfect defence to mess up our initial play. We burn up our final reroll on a wolf blitz and secure the ball, but it doesn't look safe at all. We are out of rerolls, but fortunately everything works and our ghoul can dodge past to hand off to the other ghoul who darts towards their endzone with a flesh golem barring the way. They can still manage a 2d blitz after a few key blocks- picking both down to badly hurt the ghoul and -str injure the marauder! Fortunately our nearby wolf and golem can combine to secure the ball, stall it out for a single turn, and make it 1-1 just before half time!

Our KO sleeps while theirs wakes up so they set up 10 to kick to our 9, while the fans messily beat up the ref. Their kick lands in the endzone (who is that kicker!?) where we collect it with our MA8 ghoul. They rush players into our half, but he calmly nips by them to handoff to a wight, while a Fleshy has managed to MNG a marauder. Their dark elf badly hurts a zombie and they manage to knock over the ball carrier, but we recover with our wolf on T4. They immediately dodge 1d blitz him into the KO box and steal it back. We get two wights over and knock him over but then our +MA KILLS himself with a both-down block! They follow up with a KO on a golem and things look very bad for us..

Luckily Wight A is in flying form and he makes the 3+ dodge, 4+ pickup and 3+ dodge (rerolled) for the touchdown just before they can totally shut us out: 2-1!

They have 3 turns to equalise and have 9 vs our 8, with 1 RR vs none. We kick and get a perfect defence to slow them down somewhat. T15 and we have rushed our wolf through to harass their thrower- they are forced into an unorthodox attempt at a TD- blitzing their ogre into our half and then making the long pass to him! We get our wolf behind him so he's forced to blitz with someone else or he won't be able to make it to the endzone... and their dark elf double 1s the dodge!
