“A very entertaining game, well worth the wait in getting set up. (Initially I loaded the wrong team, had to reload game. Oops. :-S )

The Bombers blitzed on the opening kickoff, clearing the entire right side of the pitch of enemy players and setting up beautifully to catch their own kickoff for an easy score. Only problem was it bounced out of our hands, became a touchback, given to an enemy player opposite side of the pitch, who waltzed in nearly unopposed for a quick 2 turn score.

On the Bombers first possession, the crowd rushed the field and SI'd one of his players (apo good), plus stunned another 5. It was fairly easy for Mustang, the emerging star of the team, to score without anybody facing him.

Two turns later, the orcs have scored yet again, and this time we're down one of our star blitzers to a SI (fortunately, nothing permanent).

It only took the last 2 turns for the Bombers and Mustang to strike again, dodging through potential tacklers with ease.

The Bombers accepted the 2nd half kickoff, and it didn't take long at all for us to screw things up big time, losing another blitzer and my ogre to BH's. However, the Orcs just don't have the speed to keep up with Mustang, and despite numerous efforts they couldn't bring this blodging fool to the ground. He eventually dodged his way into the endzone with 3 turns left in the game. The tension was mounting...

Yet another touchback, the 4th in the game (must talk to kicker...), and the Orcs were off to the races. We had a chance to bring him down and secure the win with one turn to go, but unfortunately our rookie blitzer stumbled and fell trying to go for it, leaving the Orcs able to walk around the would-be tacklers for the tying score.

Very much fun, and survived a fight with a higher TR team with only a few bruises to show for it. Woulda wished to get more payoff or a ff increase, though, especially with one of the handicaps being a favorable news release... Still, we must play again sometime!”
