“I'm definately up for a rematch, mate! Had some horrible dice in this match but surely Nuffle can't be that cruel next game too. You have a really cool team there and I'd love to play you again.
“I got lucky in the first half! Really lucky.
Almost everything whent my way, and we made 1-0 after some incredible dodging. Yes they are old, but they are still elves!
In the second half, after receiving the ball, one of my players tried to make a pass. Not a verry smart one, but hey, elves do what elves do.
Missing the throw it ended up in a good spot for one of Zeke's players to retrieve it. This went pretty well, if you don't consider the reroll he lost for picking up.
After that he played a good offence, where my players had little to do then run after him. Pitty they never got there until turn 7 after 3 rounds of stalling.
Ironicly I shouted to the opponents side minutes ago: "What are you doing boyo!, don't you wanna win?"
He yelled back: "I'll be glad if I draw on this day, sir!"
Continuing with me crying: "But you still have a lot of time maité, you're young fellas have a fighting chance. My veterans just know the stuff, how to put it in action is there only problem."
After some silence, and a half a turn later I cried out again: "You know maité, my guys are actually proud with a draw!"
Still no reaction. My guys enjoyed the passing game tough. Pass after Pass after... wait a fumbbl. Bad luck had to kick after this great performance of quick passes. My guys couldn't have done better.
I yelled again: "See laddy, It ain't over yet... 2 more bad dice rolls on the bad moment and you're done for."
My guys fought back hard in the last turns, but the wood elves where to strong with 4 guys off the field. Pitty they got slippery fingers from all the sweat of fear from my old veterans.
I thanked the coach for the game, but even without the bad luck he had... It could have been a lot more fun. Btw, you really really really had a good chance after turn 5, still 3 more turns on the clock, and I had a lot of players that "maybe" never came back.
Chances of me scoring in 3 turns, are a lot slimmer tough, but we would have tried.
Hope I can give you rematch someday.
Grtz
