We receive the kick off and on T1 manage to gang foul their mino for a MNG in return for the banning of a block-marauder, though their apo patches him up. Their STR6 ogre then badly hurts a wrestlemania marauder leaving us with 11 players for the rest of the game.
We push through into their half, our mino badly hurting their troll (who regens), and then resisting a couple of turns of blitzes vs our blodge dark elf- their lack of tackle/wrestle proving very helpful! Eventually we can break through and delay a turn to score on T8.
They set up for the TTM attempt which is greatly helped by a touchback, and the gobbo lands nicely in range and needs only dodge through a few tackle zones... but he trips up!
Half time and both teams have 11 as their ogre on the LOS catches the kick. T2 and they try and swap sides away from our minotaur, but the ogre has an untimely bonehead. We see a chance to blitz him but our own ogre has a senior moment and we miss it. The following turn we manage to set up 2 assists vs their ogre with a series of dodges and pushes, and 2d blitz him over with our own ogre. The ball bounces out of the melee (eventually), to land right by their gobbo. We have two players by the ball but they push one back and then grab the ball with their gobbo who legs it downfield. Our blodge skaven is in range and blitzes him into the badly hurt box!
The next turn our blodge dark elf has the ball and once again they can't find a POW despite 4 dice and he runs down one sideline as time is running out. This time they engineer space for their mino who ejects him into the crowd! The ball is thrown straight across the pitch and their dark elf can just about pick it up, but luckily our own 2d blitz comes up POW first time and they won't be able to equalise now.
