“OBBA League Cup, Round 1

The two strongest teams in the Cup (based on TR/TS) met in the first round, Fulham Titans and Chicago Bandages.

Fulham had most of the play in the first half, with Saha breaking down the left wing looking likely to score, but Chicago managed to get a great tackle in on Louis Saha and were defending well. It looked like Fulham's chance had all but gone, but Barry Hayles dived through some tackle coming away with the ball and with it 1-0.

The second half started with Chicago building a steady attack, but just as it looked like they had nothing to fear there was another moment of inspiration from a Fulham striker. Louis Saha avoided a couple of tackles and stole the ball off the ball carrier for what would eventually be 2-0 and with it, the game.
