“Dodging is fairly hard, doing a "go for it" is almost dumb to even try, and picking up the ball is effectively impossible. With that said, I more or less summed up the entire match.
The mummy allstars tried to do some damage in the middle, but they never really got the swing of it. Not for a lack of trying though. A few petty beastmen who strayed from the flock were the only ones who really felt the Ancient Wrath, but it was too little, too late.
At some point our new skeleton "Magnus the Monster" did his part in securing a route for the would-be ball-carrier. He did his first and only foul, which killed "Incompability, the beastman". Unfortunately, his efforts were in vain (except for the satisfaction of killing such an evil beast), as the would-be ball-carrier failed in his task miserably and almost knocked himself out trying to grab the ball.
At some point during the game, Ladislaus DarkBlood, one of our fearless warriors, got ganged up on by a group of lesser beings, which by sheer luck and weigth of numbers, knocked him down and gave him a niggling injury. That injustice will be avenged later on, mark my words.
After the match when I questioned the team about their failure at handling the ball, Maugrim the Molester bravely strode forward and answered for the team:
"Shut your filthy hole captain, we're not in his game to grab some stupid ball. We just signed up for this crap because the girls love BloodBowl players."
I, as coach, had no choice but to accept this answer and conclude that Khemri simply doesn't play ball. "Magnus the Monster" also wanted me to add the following quote: "If you can't play the ball, you can always settle for the players. Especially beastmen lying down.." ”
“Bloody as expected. The win was fairly easy, as the undead were incapable of handling the ball. The mummies proved to be their usual fearsome selves, and many times did the chaos warriors hope to meet their gods. All in all, the CWs came out on top, with one SI mummy. But this they gladly paid for in beastie blood and pain.
Antagonism scored an early TD in the confusion after the mummy was SI. The rest was just two brawls, one on the LoS, amd one in the Khemri backzone over the ball.
The beastmen were actually quite good, being able to handle the ball well enough, dodging and bashing bones. This gave me the edge I needed, being underbashed against the four mummies.
BTW. Magnus the monster, I WILL get you. Incompability will be avenged. ”
