“The ancient warriors of Itzamna found a hard fight before them: the Shomer Shabbos brought hard pressure early, knocking out Yaxun Balam with a well-placed foul. The Mummy's affronted dignity kept him off the pitch for the rest of the game, much to the chagrin of his coach.
Further knockouts allowed the Chaos team to manage a craftily delayed TD, but the Undead made them work for it, and kept things exciting for The Dude. Only some poor footwork prevented them from forcing a final showdown on the line.
The spirits of strife were not to be found wanting, though, and in the second half neither were their fans, who tied up the ref. A few well placed hits from this relatively safe vantage stunned half the Shabbos, allowing Skin Painter to run past them while they recovered. Blood of Itzamna then returned the favor of a timely delay, and in the last seconds of the game completed a TD to tie it up. Their last-second foul of Nihilist was repaid in kind by the Chaos fans, who injured Skin Painter permanently with a rock!
While not a bloody game, there was plenty of careful maneuvering and wily hits by both coaches, and in the end fortune favored them both nearly equally. The Undead may take a bit to recover from their injuries, but they'll be back and ready to play soon!

The SPP don't reflect how entertaining this game was to play. It was a fun game against an excellent opponent! Thanks to adambomb for his good attitude, friendly banter, and fine coaching.”

Was a very fun game, entertaining and competitive till the end against an enjoyable opponent.
The Chaos gods must have been displeased by The Dude for they took away his +AG boon, as he aged (-AG) on his third skill roll (Big hands).”
