An amazing game that swung to and fro, and ended in equally dramatic fashion.

The High Elves somewhat misguided attempts to provide a strong defence on the Necros opening drive saw them go in at half-time not only 1-0 down anyway, but also with two players in the cas box.

The opening second half drive from the elves seemed to have also hit a roadblock as the necros knocked the ball loose, but some tough blocking and quick running saw them recover the ball and span 3/4 of the pitch in a free flowing move that ended with a Lion Warrior crossing the line past the outstretched fingers of a Flesh Golem.

With the clock ticking, and only 17 fit players now left between the two teams, the Elves were confident the match would be heading to OT, but in an astonishing final turn, the necro's wolf wriggled free of several elven hands and handed the ball to a Ghoul who escaped the clutches of his marker and crossed the line as the whistle blew for the game-winning TD.

A wonderfully hard-fought game with brutality and ball-handling in equal measure. Good luck to exefokker in the rest of the tourney.”
