“Necros vs Shades_Steelfist's chaos pact, giving us 50k for a babe. They are quite well skilled up with guard + stand firm on both the troll and ogre which will no doubt prove quite annoying.
We kick and their mino trips over on a 2d blitz almost straight away, though we can't really take advantage of the opportunity. They have KO'd a zombie, our star wolf and a FG plus BH'd another zombie by turn 2, leaving us heavily outnumbered. We ignore the ball and focus on getting 2d blocks in, BH'ing their +STR linerat.
T4 and they are finally under a little pressure and opt to score. We receive the kick off and face 3 big guys on the LOS, managing to KO their troll and then KILL their mino with a DP foul! The apo saves him and our DP is sent off, but they look much less strong for the rest of the drive at least.
We continue in style, KO'ing 2 more marauders and getting the ball through to beside their endzone. T7 and we try and handoff to our rookie wolf, but he drops the catch despite a reroll, and again on T8, meaning we have thrown away an easy equaliser!
1-0 at half time but at least our MB wolf is back now, until they roll a blitz! They use a reroll to knock him over, and then pile in for a +1 DP foul that badly hurts him (regen fail) and sees their DP sent off. We follow this disaster up with some poor blocking dice, leaving the ball unmarked at the back. They rush players through, and we try and blitz backwards with our tackle ghoul, but instead he KOs himself on the dodge! They dodge through more players, then get the POW they need to knock over our other ghoul and need only make a 2+ pickup with their dark elf.. but he fumbles it.
We grab the ball with our sure handed ghoul but he fails the dodge, stunning himself, and they steal it to make it 2-0 on turn 3.
We only have 10 vs their 11 now as we set up to receive once more, but again we just can't make progress and though we do get the ball into their half this time, on T7 they manage to steal the ball and make the long bomb pass downfield to a marauder who can make it 3-0 on their final turn.
