“I too enjoyed this one. It seemed that for every bad piece of luck I suffered, my opponent subsequently got the same. This resulted in a back-and-forth game, neither of us really gaining the upper hand.
The one TD was the result of a snake-eyes block leaving the bulls open to a uncharacteristically effective blitz. The crowd had a part to play here, helping the ball into the hands of Sappy who then embarked on a 4 turn sprint to the end zone. Despite a valiant effort to take the little fella out from both of the Bull Centaurs, Broadside's Ogres were able to hold them back.
The crowd then seemed to realise that they'd influenced an otherwise close game and decided to beat 3 or 4 of the Ogres into the ground leaving the field wide open. The rest of the half was little more than a quagmire, both teams struggling for ball control just yards from Ogre's endzone. The big fellas closed in and eventually wrestled the ball away from the Bulls and held on to it until the final whistle.
Good even diced game, resulting in an exciting, funny game. One of my favourites :)
