When the Blood Warriors drew Orlando Bloom's Groupies again this season I was rather pleased. I was looking forward to playing Relaxed Dave as it was unfinished business from last season when we didnt get around to play. Unfortunately this time around there was too much difference between the two teams TR/TS to allow for a truelly competitive and classic Bloodbowl game.

Nevertheless it was still fun to play a gentleman like Dave, he's a really nice guy and hopefully you get a good draft for next season so we can rematch again soon.

The handicap received for Orlando Bloom's Groupies were It wasn't me and smelling salts. However upon kickoff the Blood Warriors received get the Ref and that probably ripped the heart out of our opponents as Laecla the St4 lineman was removed after the first foul. The Blood Warriors controlled the first half and raced to a 2-0 lead by half time missing a third with a fail GFI at final turn.

In the 2nd half Dave enjoyed some keep ball with the woodies to rack up some completion points and eventually getting the ball to the pacy Alealyra the Swift to pass to Gilraen on the TD line to claw one back at the halfway point.

Wary of any mistake with the ball to allow a possible equaliser the Blood Warriors protected the ball carrier well to eventually allow Telepyleia Far Sailing to receive the ball from Antiopeia to score the deciding third at the end.

Thanks Dave for the game and good luck for the rest of the season mate.

Twanlows

3pts - Gilraen - Was always a goal threat with his Ag5 he spent much of the game camped in the Blood Warriors half to collect any possible passes to him

2pts - Alealyra the Swift - His MA 9 meant he was the best player to defend the ball as had hard time to catch him throughout the game.

1pt - Elossa - His tackle meant he was the main attacking threats for Orlando

Well Erikan has covered the match well so I won't repeat all of that.

I came into the game in a rebuild phase after a horror game against Chaos so it wasn't much of a challenge for Blood Warriors unfortunately. Ultimately I was forced back with barely enough to fill out 11 starters and was soon under strength and therefore more in a damage mitigation mode.

Snuck a TD's got get some much need SP's and thankfully no deaths or SI's (a first recently).

Hopefully I will get a chance to avenge the Blooms one day in the future :-)

Twanlows as follows:

3 - Telepyleia for 2 TDs and a lot of rushing with the ball.
2 - Alcippe Powerful Mare the Blitzer with MB & Guard, caused a BH and a constant menace.
1 - Antiopeia the archer for moving the ball around well throughout the game.
