“A good game of elfbowl went awry earlier today as the Seahawks faced of against the Charioteers. In a first half marred by poor dodging and numerous trips over fallen shoelaces the Seahawks were down 0-1 and kicking in the second half.

The second half continued in much the same vein (despite the crafty blitz by the Seahawks) with the Charioteers falling to the same depths as the Seahawks in the first half. This cost the Charioteers the lead as eventually the ball squirmed free and was rushed over the line to tie the score with 3 turns left to play.

A perfect defense set the Seahawks into a good postion and left the Charioteers to go for the ball. Feeling the pressure the Lineman fumbled the ball allowing the Seahawks to rush through and place further pressure on the ball. Hearing the fans and seeing Imrik Icedragon standing over the ball the Charioteers Lineman fumbled the ball to Imriks feet - claims that he was dazzled by the sun reflecting of Imriks hairgell are under investigation! All that remained was for Imrik to blitz his way to the Endzone for the winning TD as the clock ran out.
