#11 Eggy – Broken Ribs (MNG)
A good match with good and bad luck on both sides that could easily have gone either way.

Light Out executed the Perfect Defense after marching out onto the field, making it difficult for the Bullocks to get through. After spending nearly half of the first half struggling to push their way through the Vampires, the offensive had largely ground to a halt. The pale skinned fellows had pushed the Bullocks up against the sidelines and were picking the team apart. The ball carrier was dropped but luckily managed to somehow push the ball to a fellow teammate... who was subsequently knocked over himself. The ball bounced into the crowd who, in their desperation to get the game moving again, threw the ball into the Vampire end zone. With the help of his teammates, Little Righty and Bull Centaur, managed to break free of the bundle, run and grab the ball and score the first touchdown!

With only 4 turns to score in the second half, the Vamires made a desperate bid for the equalizer, taking full advantage of the Bullocks poor kick. Unfortunately they were unable to find a way through, their rage manifesting in a greater blood hunger for the lood of the feeble thralls.

Starting the second half 1-0 down, Light Out were understandably keen to even the score and, once again blessed with a poor kick from the Bullocks, were able to hand the ball to their fastest player. Unfortunately the thirst of the Vampires was increasing, and more and more of them had to slake their thirst on their own men, who began to lose block after block to the stalwart Dwarves. The closing stages of the second half saw the Vampires make a break from the clutches of the Bullocks, but Little Righty was free. He charged the full width of the pitch, squarely smashing Vladiir the ball carrier into the ground. Even Baggy managed to stop roaring and put his considerable bulk between the Vampires and the ball.

From here on it was a struggle for possesion of the ball, the spikey lump changing hands time after time. When a Cheesy managed to drop the SarThora with a well placed block, it was simply a matter of Little Righty to grab the ball and, once again, lung for the endzone for the second touch down.
