Handicap for - Extra Training
Cthulhu, The Sleeping God missed game due to niggling injury (his first game since aging)

This was a pretty hard-hitting game with my Undead able to hold the CDs scoreless in the 1st half. I had close to 90% luck by the half, and my opponent commented that I had only failed a single block the entire first half (which I naturally rerolled into a successful block). 2nd half I got the ball and was able to score in 5 turns, including stalling out an extra turn when the Huns Bull Centaur (i believe it was Bleda-bobeda) fell down on a GFI trying to blitz the ball-carrier. The way my luck had gone the entire game, I figured I would be able to hold the Huns scoreless for 3 turns and hang onto the win. However, Jeffro wasn't about to give up and called on the services of his monster hobgoblin, Gepid (check this freak out - ST 4, AG 5 Block). Gepid got into a little trouble so he sprinted free and chucked the ball across the field where I couldn't reach it. I covered it and him instead, but to no avail. In an amazing display of athleticism, Gepid dodged away from a diving tackle on T8, sprinted across the field, knocked my Wight out, picked up the ball, and used 2 GFIs to score the game-tying TD. My fans were so disgusted that they turned on the Dreamers, costing us -FF but the gate netted us more than enough money to replace Cthulhu who will be missed but can no longer be depended upon.

Great game as always Jeffro, and grats on tying it up after a first half where I could seemingly do no wrong with the dice. Enjoy the services of Gepid while he lasts, because the Dreamers have taken out a contract on his miserable life :) Good luck to you in the rest of the tournament, and hope we can play each other again soon.
