Not great preparation for the new season. I hand clarkin a pile of BH's and even replace the dead zombie, and in return get handed 2 niggles and a kill against >.<
The one player that skilled niggled aging, so we went into the game with 1 niggle and came out the other end with 2!

We receive first and they start well with a BH and a KO on zombies in the first two turns. We rush ghouls to one side, then back to the other before darting towards the endzone on T4, but they MNG our +STR mummy (fortunately he regens) and then with a few GFIs get a tackler on our ghoul with the ball. When we burn our reroll blocking with the rookie mummy he has to make the dodge first time... but trips!
At this stage the dwarves are ruling the pitch and run the ball deep into our half while we have two turns in a row of our remaining mummy trying to GFI to blitz and rolling double 1s. They score on T8 without trouble and we kick off the 2nd half.
Again they are hitting like stars, KILLING a rookie zombie (no regen), BH'ing another (regen) and KO'ing a third in the first two turns. T4 and they BH our only ghoul on the pitch leaving us with 7 vs their 11. Then finally our STR6 mummy KILLS their niggled longbeard (point of interest: he gained that niggle 15 games ago against me!) so they don't apo him and we have him join our team (DukeTyrion's third such donation!). We also niggle their +AGI blitzer who the apo saves, and they BH another zombie.
We have a chance against the ball on T5 when they double skull but can't find the POW we need and their blodge runner dodges past the tackle zone to safety, though we do niggle a longbeard with our super mummy.
They run the ball right into a corner where we can only put a tackle zone on him but he dodges easily to make it 2-0.
