“This was quite simply the worst game of any miniatures related game I have ever played. Hopefully this fellow will get banned from fumbbl so that none of you ever have to experience playing this BBF fellow. However, this may not happen, so allow me to try and give you a preview of what you might expect.
BBF did have bad luck right from the start, with Morley's Revenge and a Pitch Invasion before things even got underway. BBF requested that we start again, and I refused (perhaps I shouldn't have, but my rats have worn their lumps themselves, and he didn't have anyone permanently damaged).
Then BBF was thinking about conceeding on turn 2. So I score a td, then get a blitz. After the blitz this person waited 25 minutes to make his first move, despite prodding by myself to get on with it, stating that I shouldn't rush him, blood bowl is like chess and takes time, despite the fact it was rather blatantly obvious he was attempting to get me to quit in frustration so he wouldn't have to concede. After another 5 minutes I contacted admins, and I believe they had a hand in him deciding to start playing again. Even now he seemed to be making every effort to play as slowly as possible. Eventually we finish the half.
I let BBF know at half-time that my connection has a session limit, and it will expire in apporximately 40 minutes, so could he please speed up so we could finish before I have to reconnect. Needless to say this didn't happen. Despite taking an average of 1.5 minutes for my turns, we were still only in turn 5 when the time came to disconnect and reconnect. I finished my turn, and let him know what I was doing.
When I got back, BBF accused me of dropping out on purpose and used this opportunity to refuse to reload the game for about half an hour, telling me he was talking to the admins. He was certainly not present on #fumbbl_admin when I again contacted the admins, and eventually we got the game back up.
Before we could finish however, BBF decided he had to write a complaint to the admins then and there, detailing the conversation we had earlier when I lost my patience (for reference, I suggested that if hadn't played with the speed of a 2 year old retarded monkey the disconnection would never have happened).
After another 15 minutes of stalling, we eventually actually finished the game. Funnily enough the one skill I obtained from this game I made Dirty Player, as this was the skill I'd been wishing I'd had for the last 3+ hours.
You may be asking yourself, why did this idiot(referring to myself here) put up with this crap, why didn't he just disconnect? And why bother to write this long-winded account of it?Obviously I'm a very stubborn individual, and I simply couldn't stand the idea of BBF achieving his aims with these tactics, so I kept on.
I strongly suggest people put BBF on their DNP lists, to the point where I would suggest that if people believe I'm full of crap here (as inevitably if he's not kicked BBF will be posting a response here), they also add me to their DNP list. I'm quite willing to lose potential opponents to encourage people never to have to experience a game with BBF.”
